About PirateFly

An independent flight deals platform. We surface real bargains from live booking data — no subscriptions, no clutter, no commission bias.

What we do

PirateFly monitors flight prices across European routes and highlights fares that are significantly below the typical market rate. The goal is simple: save you time and money without burying you in noise.

We are not a travel agency and we do not sell tickets. When you find a deal you like, we point you to the booking platform directly.

How deals are sourced

All prices are pulled from live booking partner APIs and updated continuously. A deal appears on the site only when the fare falls below defined thresholds — under €20, €40, or €100 — relative to the typical price for that route.

  • No manual curation — thresholds determine what shows, not editorial preference
  • Connecting flights included when layover windows are reasonable (2 to 30 hours)
  • Price drops tracked automatically and surfaced in a dedicated feed

Our tools

Beyond the deals feed, PirateFly offers a set of free tools for travelers: a deal checker to verify whether a price is genuinely good, and practical guides on topics like eSIMs, flight compensation, car rental, and airport transfers.

The team

PirateFly is built and maintained by Alex C., a frequent flyer based in Genova, Italy. The platform started as a personal tool — a way to catch cheap fares without wading through comparison sites — and grew from there.
