Piratefly vs Google Flights
Google Flights is excellent when you know the route and the dates: fast, clean, with a price graph. Piratefly starts earlier, when you do not know yet: it tells you where you can go cheaply from your city, whether today’s fare is a good one, and it sends you the unusual drops.
What Piratefly does not do
Piratefly is not a booking site and not a full metasearch: it does not query every airline for every date in real time, it covers mostly Europe, and when you book, you book on a partner site. We are not affiliated with Google. Google Flights has more airlines, more countries and a faster date grid; for a precise itinerary on fixed dates, use it.
