Piratefly

Piratefly vs Skyscanner

Skyscanner is the tool you open when you already know you want to fly and want to compare prices right now. Piratefly is for the other half of the problem: knowing whether today’s price is good, and hearing about the cheap ones without searching every day.

What Piratefly does not do

Piratefly is not a booking site and not a full metasearch: it does not query every airline for every date in real time, it covers mostly Europe, and when you book, you book on a partner site. We are not affiliated with Skyscanner. If you need every carrier, every date, multi-city or long-haul coverage, Skyscanner is the better tool and you should use it.

Is Piratefly cheaper than Skyscanner?

Not by itself: both show fares sold by airlines and agencies. The difference is timing — Piratefly tells you when a fare is low compared to its own history, so you book at the right moment.

Do I need an account?

No. Pages, the Telegram channel and the weekly email work without an account; the email has a one-click unsubscribe.

Should I stop using Skyscanner?

No. Use Piratefly to decide where and when, and whichever search engine you like to double-check the final price.
